CDL FAQs

A Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) allows you to drive combination vehicles with a gross combination weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 pounds or more, as long as the vehicle being towed weighs more than 10,000 pounds. Examples include tractor-trailers, tankers, and flatbeds.

µþ°Õ±õ’s CDL training program combines classroom instruction with hands-on driving experience. Our instructors—experienced commercial drivers—will teach you the skills to pass the CDL test and succeed in the trucking industry.

Training duration depends on your schedule:

  • Full-time students can complete the CDL program in as little as four weeks.
  • Part-time students can complete the program in up to eight weeks.
